I don't even like fried chicken but this was the best wrap I've ever had in my life. Bonus stars for letting my daughter use the bathroom in an emergency

We are on a road trip and wanted something local so we took a guess and wow did we get it right! The chicken pieces are large, tender, freshly coated and fried. The grab bag had awesome corn fritters, potato cones and mozzarella sticks. The only thing lacking is a signature sauce, but the chicken was great with and without a sauce. If we were local, this place would see us frequently!

Pretty decent wings. Had a mix of Buffalo hot and Chicken Joe's special, the special was very good. The stand out was their crispy French fries. The hot crispy crunchy exterior with hot soft interior along with the right amount of seasoning just floored us. Had it hot right out of the frier, in the car outside still steaming hot. Am sure they get a lot of orders from SUNY campus nearby. Will be back. Support your local businesses!

Well, I did it. I finally did it. After years and years of fantasizing about the sandwiches on the menu at Chicken Joe's, I finally took the plunge. The decision may have been influenced by the hours I had spent celebrating Peche Day. And while I had fortified myself earlier with a beautiful quebecois meat pie from a legit chef, by the end of the day I was peckish. So I hoofed it to this venerable late night spot for an early dinner while the sun was still shining. It took me far too long to make up my mind, but in the end I went for broke with "Heaven". It's a sandwich that's filled with chicken nuggets, fries, mozzarella sticks, bacon, american cheese, and ranch dressing. At least I had the presence of mind to ask about substituting the ranch for blue cheese. And of course, I had to add hot sauce up in that thing. What was presented to me was glorious. And it took all my self control not to inhale that beast of a sandwich. Certainly, at the time, it felt like a five star sandwich. And it's close. Don't forget, I spent some time in Jersey, where these phat-style sandwiches rose to national fame. While I absolutely loved this sandwich, I can't quite put it up at the same level. The faults are minor, but they exist. Largely they are about the distribution of ingredients, and the roll itself. The middle of the sandwich was perfect. However, not only did the fillings get sparse at the end, so did the sauces. Nits. Minor nits. I shudder to think about the damage I did to my arteries that night. Thankfully, I decided to try and walk it off. And amazingly, I lived through the night. Although, that just means I'm tempted to try to make it into heaven one more time. That said, as I was chomping down on this decadent treat at the counter, I happened to notice how popular the buffalo chicken fries were. Order after order of those were pouring out of the kitchen. And man... those sound fantastic. Maybe after an order of buffalo chicken fries, Chicken Joe's will be a five star "late night" guilty pleasure fix. It's mighty close. I can't say if I'm thrilled or horrified that they are open into the wee hours of the morning every day. Perhaps my one saving grace is that I refuse to have french fries delivered. So if I'm every going to indulge, it's going to have to be on site. Still, I don't think I can wait another three years for an order of those buffalo chicken fries. Thankfully, Chicken Joe's is a solid walk from home, so I can get at least a little cardiovascular something something after shoving my pie hole full of my favorite fried foods.
